How to Delete / Remove Alert Notifications
Overview
The Delete / Remove Alert Notifications section allows users to remove outdated or unnecessary contact points from the notification system. Deleting a contact point ensures that alerts are no longer sent to incorrect or inactive recipients, helping maintain a streamlined and efficient alerting process.
Steps to Delete a Contact Point
Step 1: Navigate to the Contact Point Page
Open the Metrics page.
Click on the Contact Point tab to view the configured contact points.
Step 2: Click on the Delete Icon
In the Action column of the contact point table, find the contact point (Email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams) you want to delete.
Click the Delete icon.
Step 3: Confirm the Deletion
A Delete Confirmation popup will appear, asking for confirmation to remove the contact point.
Click Yes, Delete to proceed.
Step 4: Verify the Contact Point Removal
The contact point should now be removed from the Contact Point Table.
Alerts will no longer be sent to the deleted contact point.
