How to Update Quota Details

This guide outlines the process to update existing quota details through the Update Quota page. Follow the steps to modify quota settings such as email recipients, threshold values, and status.

Introduction

The Update Quota feature allows users to modify specific quota details for existing quotas. While certain fields like account name, account ID, and service name are fixed, users can update recipient emails, threshold values, and quota status.

Steps to Update Quota Details

Step 1: Navigating to the Add Quota Report Page

  1. Click on the Settings option located on the left side panel.

  2. Click on the Quota tab to navigate to the Quota Report page, where existing quotas are displayed in a table.

Step 2: Accessing the Update Quota Page

  1. In the quota table, locate the row containing the quota you wish to update.

  2. Scroll to the Action column and click on the Edit icon.

  3. This will open the Update Quota page.

Step 3: Editing Quota Details

On the Update Quota page, the following fields are disabled and cannot be modified:

  • Account Name

  • Account ID

  • Service Name

  • Expression

You can update the following fields:

  • Email To (Textbox): Edit the email addresses, adding or removing recipients as needed. Multiple email addresses should be separated by commas.

  • Threshold Value (Textbox): Update the threshold value for triggering notifications.

  • Status (Dropdown): Change the quota status by selecting Enabled or Disabled from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Saving Changes

  1. After making the necessary updates, click the Update button.

  2. A success popup will be displayed, confirming that the quota details have been updated.

  3. The updated quota information will now appear in the Quota table on the Quota Report page.
